Kent Continence Service


The Kent Continence Service, run by Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT), consists of specialist nurses and physiotherapists whose aims is to improve the quality of life for adults with incontinence, bladder or bowel dysfunction, prolapse/pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic pain by providing clinical advice, support and information to patients and healthcare professionals/carers.  The team also provides urinalysis, bladder scanning, pelvic floor tone assessment and physical assessment to patients across Kent, as well as treating incontinence and gynaecological dysfunctions with the use of techniques such as exercise, bladder and bowel habit advice, biofeedback and electrotherapy.  The service also includes the Kent Continence Business Office, which is responsible for the home delivery of continence pads and pants
