IOP & Glaucoma

All new patients suspected of having glaucoma in East Kent are to be offered the choice of referral to the Community Glaucoma Network (CGN)

.

The CGN has been commissioned by the East Kent CCGs for the following reasons:

  1. Fewer site visits – all investigations performed on the same visit
  2. All diagnostics and monitoring is overseen by consultant ophthalmologists
  3. All management and follow-up is compliant with NICE guidelines

.

All CGN referrals can be emailed or posted to:

E-mail:  cesp.glaucoma@nhs.net |Tel:  01227 903123
