Chemotherapy

 

Patients who are receiving, or have received, immunotherapy may present with treatment-related problems at anytime during treatment or up to 12 months afterwards.  These can include any of the following symptoms:

  • Temperature < 36°C or > 37.5°C
  • Shivering / feverishness / flu-like symptoms
  • diarrhoea / vomiting / burning sensation when passing urine
  • sore throat
  • cough and sputum or sudden onset of SOB
  • redness of swelling, especially around wound or central line exit point
 

Please use the triage poster to assess the severity of the symptom(s) in order to determine the appropriate management regime
