Learning Disabilities Mortality Review (LeDeR) Programme

The LeDeR Programme aims to make improvements to the lives of people with learning disabilities.  It clarifies any potentially modifiable factors associated with a person's  death, and works to ensure that these are not repeated elsewhere.  A major part of the LeDeR Programme is to support local areas in England to review the deaths of people with learning disabilities aged 4 years and over.  Local reviewers will be looking at all deaths, regardless of the cause of death or place of death

Anyone can notify the LeDeR team, including people with learning disabilities themselves, family members, friends and paid staff of a death of a person with learning disabilities
